Happy 3 month birthday day, Piper. 💖
This week we finally had our first leash walks outside. She did great!! She's gotten big enough now that she can jump on the couch (with a running start) and climb up onto the bed. My ankles are covered in bite marks, in spite of wearing trekking boots/socks almost every day. She enjoys tug and fetch. And we learned during my recent trip to the coast that she likes cat toys. My friend who watched her described her as "juiciosa" for a puppy. (IYKYK). She knows sit, lay down, come, her name and where to potty - but since we are finally starting walks, she's starting to learn about outdoor potty. Every morning is a battle, since she can't stay in pens anymore (she climbs out), and it's a battle for me to toilet. I've survived 6 weeks as a solo puppy parent and couldn't have done it without the help of my kind neighbors and friends (you know who you are.) I've had some really absurd experiences and strategies, but also adorable sweet moments. Every day presents new challenges. Wish me luck for teething. 😭
