Here's a great tip from Celebrating Senior Shutterbugs member, Rickey J. Farmer Sr. "Taken earlier this year and found today during a review of my files. A female Leafcutter Bee doing that bee thing with a full belly load to deliver and spread. I learn something new about what I shoot and how I shoot every day and love it. Canon R5II, Canon 100-400+x2tc, f29, iso 5000, 1/2000, 556mm, cropped. By the way I learned that 1/2000 is not near fast enough to stop a bee wing as they beat 200 to 250 times a second one wing stroke is about 4 milliseconds." -RJF

Digital Photo Academy instructor Jerry Downs in San Francisco shares this composition tip in our October Photo Primer:

"👻 Look for a Frame That’s Already There
You don’t always need to create a frame around your subject. Trees, branches, doorways, windows, and arches can do the work for you.
In these photographs, the tree trunks and branches surround the roadway, creating a natural frame that directs your eye toward the bright opening in the distance. The narrowing space also adds a strong sense of depth."
