When you meet your people… you know 🤍

Last night with Chris & Nikki felt like one of those moments from the very start. The kind where it doesn’t feel like work, it just feels like being dropped right into someone’s world and getting to witness it up close.

We ran around Solomons Island with music playing all around us, and they just lived in it — dancing, laughing, completely wrapped up in each other. Being able to witness it up close… I’m just obsessed with how much they love each other. I couldn’t put my camera down for a second, every moment was better than the last.

We ended out on the pier, slowing it all down, laughing, soaking it in and it hit me again how lucky I am to do this. To meet people who feel like friends from the moment we meet. To be trusted with something this meaningful.

Chris & Nikki… June 20 cannot come soon enough ✨

Becca & Jake Carr 🥂

I met Becca when she was a maid of honor… so getting to photograph her as a bride? Unreal. And truly—Becca is was an absolutely stunning bride.

From St. Mary’s College… to getting ready at Alumni Lodge… to saying “I do” right on the waterfront in St Mary’s City… every piece of this felt so personal.

Over the years I’ve gotten to know these two, their families, their people and this day felt exactly like them. Easy, joyful, and full of so much love for one another.

… and that just married kiss 👏🏼
