On Saturday I was photographing various food products for ‘s Food Business Bootcamp members. I had 4 hours to photograph 6 products, each with their own creative brief and mood board. It really stretched my creative juices. Various backdrop, prop and lighting changes were done, each with just a quick meeting before we dove in head first to make it happen. My last shoot of the day was for .ny The goal was to create hard lighting that was flattering and punchy, while highlighting serving suggestions that elevated the product, not overshadowed. is having a big Easter sale! I had so much fun capturing some of their new products. Pictured here are sweet Paper plates, Gummy filled Tin Eggs, and Egg Wraps. (They worked great on faux eggs, so you can use them as a decoration every year)

I got an email today that the Recipe of the Year is Focaccia. I always wanted to make Focaccia, so it felt like a good time to try. I had just enough flour left from my Christmas baking to throw this together. I started it after lunch and it was ready by dinner. It was very simple and the directions are nice and clear to follow. Next time I’ll probably bake it a tad longer. I don’t have a focaccia tin so I used my cast iron skillet instead.
