The Sparkler Shot 🎇 … a “love/hate” relationship 🧨 🫣

… wait wait wait … believe me … I will capture it … multiple times, from multiple angles, and you will LOVE them 🤗

… but when I hear “sparkler”, my heart ❤️ drops a beat, and NO:
- it’s not because there is a drastic change in light 💡 that makes it challenging to photograph
- it’s not because it typically hits only once or twice, and i don’t know exactly when it’s happening
- it’s not because the are high expectations for this shot

… so, why is it that I feel a particular way about them sparklers ⚡️ :
- sparklers typically become a “highlight” of the 1st dance. Although they do make for a “pretty background”, I’m a strong believer that your family, friends, and their reactions , are a meaningful and memorable “backdrop” that will be cherished forever.

There is ALOT going on during a 2 to 3 minute 1st dance. My goal is to capture the action, the reaction, what your guests saw, and what you might have missed … don’t worry , I gotchu 😉

OH YEAH Tip #72 - your wedding ceremony will be filled with people who love you, and it will be quite emotional and overwhelming at times (in a good way). Take some time after the ceremony to come back into the church and enjoy a quiet walk, a moment of piece, and let it all sync in … you just got married … OH YEAHHH 🥳

… oh … and get some pictures taken 😜😉
