Another race, another lesson in patience, humility, and not taking a single step for granted.

This one hurt, the heat, the legs, the two months with almost no running, but I gave it everything I had.

What made this one special wasn’t the result, it was the people around me. Everyone who checked in, cheered, supported, screamed my name on the course, waited at the fence, and pushed me through the dark parts of the run.

Couldn’t have done this one without you. ❤️
On to the next.

Cartagena was hot, tough, and humbling… but I’m honestly just grateful I got to race.The swim was a fight from the start...

Cartagena was hot, tough, and humbling… but I’m honestly just grateful I got to race.

The swim was a fight from the start, the bike was where I felt the strongest, and the run was the hardest I’ve ever done. The humidity hit hard, my legs were gone after km 8, but the injury stayed quiet and I kept moving.

Not the perfect race, but one I’m really proud of.
Grateful for the people around me, the energy of the city, and for having the chance to be out there again.

Cartagena, you were brutal but special. 🇨🇴✨

What incredible people. The A’i Cofan are a community so connected to their roots, the environment, their medicine.

Their ceremonies are full of a powerful energy and an ancestral “conocimiento (knowledge)”. So much to learn from them!
