Will and Franci are married! My wonderful nephew married his longtime girlfriend of ten years who we have gotten to know and adore. A different kind of backyard wedding, with a nighttime ceremony instead of a daytime one. It was called a Full Moon Party, and the couple wrote their own vows and shared them as the moon rose over the trees in the background. Dogs were invited, and guests picnicked on the grass. As the evening rolled on, costumes were passed around to bring an otherworldly quality to the celebration.
I feel so fortunate to be privy to the creativity of others. This was a magical evening and I hope I did it justice in my documentation of it all. It was original and special indeed.

The most memorable day on Martha Stewart’s farm- when her niece, Kristina, married Barrett, surrounded by horses and lush greenery. Kristina was an expert rider, and when her very famous aunt, Martha Stewart, offered any space on her property for Kristina to use for her wedding, using the stables was to her an obvious choice! Published in many years ago, but it feels like yesterday.

That’s what it felt like to spend the day with Alison & Daniel on their wedding day. ✨ Guests dined under long branches in the tall windowed room at Wave Hill Garden. Friends sipped espresso martinis and held cocktail napkins printed with the couple’s love letters. It was a truly magical day. 💫shim

It was the first weekend in October in Vermont… the colors of the trees were golden yellow and burnt orange and red. The evenings were cool and guests wrapped themselves in blankets as they roasted s’mores by the fire. But the daytime was filled with sunshine and Briana and Alex shared their vows with the colors of fall and the mountains behind them.

With custom-printed tambourines in hand, Lily & Griffin lead guests in a second line from the dinner to the dance floor. Such a great time!

What. A. Fun. Day!!!! Guests tossed curled streamers in the air as Lily and Griffin departed the church, and they fell upon them (and me) in a beautiful web of colors!!! It was a perfect evening flooded with sunshine and cocktails. Brian Kirk and the Jirks lead everyone into an energetic night filled with music and dancing. Lily changed into a sparkly gown and she and Griffin partied the night away!
