As I wandered through Schรถnbrunn Palace just outside Vienna, Austria, I found myself completely captivated by one woman: Empress Maria Theresa, the visionary behind the palace.

She brought in nearly 750 staff to help bring her vision to life, and in the Great Gallery, extravagant crystal chandeliers and over 1,100 candles illuminated the space, creating an immersive, luminous experience.
