35mm Archives: Graveyard Shift Diner Waitresses. Going way back to when I worked at an iconic all-night NYC diner.
Veronica was a stunner that was rumored to be dating a famous actor that was a regular (don’t ask; I’m not talking lol); Amy quit the diner to become a singer in a punk rock band!
Tech note: these are phone scans off original 4x6 prints, they don’t look half as rich as the originals but I don’t have a real scanner to do so.

This on-spot action shot of Emiliano was taken by me less than 2 weeks after the big, scary NYC shutdown in March 2020.
People were getting crazy but it wasn't in full swing just yet. To approach someone for a random shot was refreshing for me.
I continued to shoot weekly and that was a sort of salvation for me (and continues to be).
