Here are are my favorite shots of the year that I haven’t posted 🤣⁣

Turns out there is no guarantee you will see the northern lights on any given trip to Iceland. However, we were blessed to have an opportunity on a night that was more than perfect.⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣
The first slide is a chunk of glacial ice sitting in Jökulsárlón glacial lagoon. Here, facing southwest(ish) you could see the Aurora lighting up the sky to the right, and the Milky Way to the left.⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣
And following that is my favorite from the whole trip; Vestrahorn mountain taken from Stokksnes, a headland on the southeastern coast, near Hofn. The rising moon provided some perfect light for the foreground.⁣⁣⁣
