Not attending or shooting the show in Philly tonight to the dismay of a VERY few.
But I have been honored enough to be able to say that I did do it twice in Killadelphia..Once at the Troc..and once in... well actually Camden...but most artists consider it Philly...it is filthy..

Not much to post lately. New job and a lot of good life changes.
Some good stuff on the horizon though.

A few weeks back had a great 2 day mini-workshop in NYC. Which of course means lots of learning with good friends. Awesome hangtimes with (I hope you're better) (Always a pleasure) and (Super to finally meet you Conor) and everyone else that I'm not tagging because I'm at work.

Thank you to for always being a master model.
Hopefully his eyesight has returned to normal.

Thank you to for making such awesome equipment.
More to come from the 2 day session when I get around to it.

RIP Ace

His legacy lives on forever. His look was classic and iconic. The Starman...and his Sunburst Les Paul

This was the only time I saw him live. This was the Ride for Dime All Star Jam in 2009. 10 yrs later I was given the opportunity to shoot his live show and wound up missing it due to an emergency.

His playing influenced generations.

So many of the guitarists of today owe so much to him.

I also included a photo of Ace playing with which I printed and gave to Phil. A few years later I found out that Phil had Ace sign it and had it framed and up on one of the walls of his home.

It's sad that Ace didn't get to play with Kiss for their "last" show ...but that's a whole 'nother story.

Rest in Peace Ace. The stars await you.

Sad news today in the metal world as we all are finding out that vocalist Tomas Lindberg has passed away.
Cancer sucks....

Went out on Sunday to see some cars. .horsepower had a little soiree this past weekend. Got there just before the awards were given out and most of the cars left due to the forecast of rain. But it was a really great time for everyone.
One of the things I really enjoy about car shows is how you can have 20 of the same vehicle and every one is customized differently and has a totally unique backstory to each of the owners.
Next time you hit up a car show, ask some of the car owners to tell you about the vehicle. You'll be in for a treat

Forgot to post this last week but these were the photos that I entered into the and the full images of the ones that won.
I didn't do as well as I did 2 years ago when I won tht Best of Show and a bunch of 1st place and one 2nd place.... But then again there were some really strong entries this year. Congratulations to the winners.
It's really fun to print your work as opposed to viewing it on a screen. I think that the prints could have been a little bit brighter, but it is what it is.
Anyway. Keep shooting!
