Jamaican heart. Punjabi soul. One unforgettable day. ❤️

Some couples feel like friends from the first hello, and Sharmy and Dishawn are exactly that. Spending the day with them felt less like work and more like celebrating two people we’ve known for years.

Their ceremony was full of emotion, with tears, long hugs, and two families becoming one.

Then the rain came, and they just laughed, running up the steps together under one big umbrella. ☔

Inside the Wadsworth, they slipped away for a moment that was only theirs. They shared heartfelt vows and a private ring exchange, surrounded by centuries of art. It was so quiet and so honest that we felt lucky just to be in the room.

The weekend ended at Tranquility Winery sharing the things they love most: good w**e, good food, and their favorite people. 🍷

**Elegance isn’t posed. It’s noticed.**

People often ask what makes a wedding photo feel timeless. For me, it comes down to three things: light, restraint, and patience.

**Light.** Soft window light through a veil. A silhouette framed by an arched window, the train pooling across the floor like watercolor. I’d rather wait for the right light than add more of anything else.

**Restraint.** True elegance is often in what you leave out. A close-up of mehndi-stained fingers resting on an embroidered sherwani. The pink beads of a necklace echoed in the groom’s mala. Small details, given room to breathe.

**Emotion.** This is where patience matters most. A mother holding her daughter a little tighter, eyes closed, before the day begins. A bride looking up at her groom with a smile she didn’t plan. Two people trading handwritten letters beneath a willow tree. I don’t create those moments. I stay quiet, stay ready, and let them happen.

Beauty in a photograph isn’t about perfection. It’s about honesty, framed with care.
