I want to start sharing the stories behind the photos I take with this page. There's a lot more to a picture behind the scenes that makes it what it is. This is the most surreal moment I have from this past summer. Me, Mark Wiggins and Josh Linker decided to do a midnight hike in the White Mountains of New Hampshire to specifically climb Mt. Jefferson. We began hiking at around 12 a.m. and reached the summit at around 2:30 a.m. When we reached the summit, it was a lot colder than expected. Winds reached 20 mph so we had to shelter behind the backside of the summit and feasted on a lot of food (so much cheese lol). We were surrounded by miles of wilderness without a single cloud in the sky looking up at the greatest collection of stars I've ever seen. I can't fully describe the feeling, but it felt like I was in another world. We stayed up there till sunrise and hiked down at around 6:30 a.m. and drove back to pass out for like 12 hours haha.
