Facebook reminded me today that I filmed an event at The Gramercy Theatre 6 years ago tonight. And what a show it was - Charlene Kaye at her best, and Jay Stolar at the peak of his rocking full band era. This song was one of my finest video moments to date when I recorded it, and still ranks high on my personal favorites list to this very day.

You should watch - at one point, I felt like my camera was moving in time and energy so in sync with the band, it felt like it was an actual instrument on stage....

I had the pleasure of filming this jam last time NOTLF played, and I'll be doing so again tonight.

And just so you know, as fun as this is to watch and hear, it's 10x better in person - where the whole room is locked in to the vibe and grooving along to the funk.

Red Wanting Blue and @[17628008The Alternate Routes] played re-interpretations of songs from each band's lengthy catalogues, just Scott & Eric from RWB, and Tim & Eric from AR. A beautiful night of music, with a packed room and friends new and old surrounding us.

What an amazing night with Red Wanting Blue and The Alternate Routes last night at Rockwood Music Hall, watching Scott Terry, Eric Reed Hall, Tim Warren and Eric Donnelly share each other's songs with such joy and passion, giving a unique spin to each one, in an attentive, passionate room full of long time fans of each group. They are making a DVD of the evening, so I only filmed this one song. Hope you enjoy.

to when all the cool kids played rock n' roll in Williamsburg on weeknights, and I stood on a chair, in the middle of the crowd at the long gone Spike Hill, to capture the chaos.

Was truly honored to capture this Tom Petty tribute last month at C'mon Everybody. Big thanks to Maddy, Eric, David and everyone involved. The show raised a bunch of money for hurricane relief in Puerto Rico, which was just a huge bonus to the amazing time everyone in the room had singing, playing, and listening. Hope that translates in these videos - I know I felt it as I worked!

Still one of the favorite gigs I ever shot - a unique rooftop venue, the changing dusk/twilight skyline and city lights coming up behind the stage, great energy in the crowd, and of course - Alec Gross and Co rocking these amazing tunes for all to enjoy! (Hard to believe this was 6 years ago!!!!)

I don't think I've been this excited to post a highlight reel in many years. Andy, Kozza and I spent the last few weeks getting this Andy Suzuki & The Method jam dialed in just right, so you can see EXACTLY how amazing their live show is (and what The Rock Boat party is like, from The Rock Boat Family point of view - and from on the stage in to the crowd too!)
