Film photography is a luxury, not in cost but in presence.
A gift that asks us to slow down, to notice, to breathe between frames. In a world of speed and endless capture, film reminds us that not everything is meant to be immediate.

Before my work became high-tech and high-volume, photography was meditation…Wellness…Pure expression….A practice in connection with light, with stillness, with the quiet intuition that guides the an artistic eye.

Film invites simplicity. It removes the noise and leaves only intention. Each frame becomes a small act of faith, a moment of mindfulness, an artist’s indulgence in patience and restraint.

These are the pillars of great art: presence, connection, expression, and trust in the unseen result.

One of my earliest works captured on Fuji 400H with a humble Canon AE1. This image is not perfect, however to me it’s an example of the type of imperfection I strive to return to. It’s an homage to where the journey began, and why I still strive for the whispered beauty of slowing down.
