Looking for a relaxing and creative activity in NYC? 🧵✨

We recently did the beginner embroidery workshop at ArtisHouse and honestly this was such a peaceful experience. From the moment you walk in, the space feels like a hidden artistic sanctuary right in the middle of Manhattan.

At first, it was definitely a little difficult getting the hang of embroidery 😭 but the instructors were super hands-on and guided us throughout the entire process. By the end of the experience, I honestly felt like I understood the basics and got the gist of how to do embroidery.

✨ Highlights:
• beginner-friendly embroidery workshop
• relaxing & cozy atmosphere
• all materials included
• hands-on guidance from instructors
• create your own personalized design
• perfect solo date, girls day, or creative outing

Honestly such a nice way to unplug for a bit and do something different from the usual NYC activities ✨

One of the BEST ways to experience Guatapé & La Piedra del Peñol 🇨🇴✨

If you’re visiting Medellín, this is definitely a day trip worth adding to your itinerary. We booked this full-day experience through GetYourGuide and got to explore colorful streets, breathtaking views, a boat tour, and so much more all in one day.

✨ Highlights:
• transportation included from Medellín
• the buses were SUPER comfortable, honestly better than airplane seats 😭
• climb La Piedra del Peñol for insane panoramic views
• explore the colorful town of Guatapé
• relaxing boat tour around the lake
• seeing Pablo Escobar’s former home during the boat tour
• free time to walk around & shop
• our fourth stop was lunch, which was included during the experience

💡 Tips for visitors:
• wear comfortable shoes because there is a lot of walking and stairs throughout the day
• the bus does get a little cold, so I definitely recommend bringing a sweater or hoodie (you can leave it on the bus throughout the tour)
• bring water and be prepared for a full-day activity
• definitely bring your camera, there are photo opportunities EVERYWHERE
