Full disclosure. I’m a sucker for roadside farm stands. One minute I’m driving along, taking backroads to a gas station, next minute I’m buckling in the largest pumpkin I’ve ever purchased to bring back to Chicago.

While the whole family was restocking the pumpkins for the day and C and I got to wander around and check out the many shapes of squash they had to offer.

Yep. I’m still around. I thought for sure I would have more time now that school is out and summer is in full swing - but alas- here I am barely getting any posts of our adventures. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Lake Michigan was a foggy mess of mystery the other day when we met up with friends for a beach day. Lucky for us the lifeguards were in motion the whole time to allow for a fun day for the kids- even if without the sun.
