Most people don’t care too much where their photo session takes place, but mom was like “I really want it at Grand Central Station. I think that would be so much fun.” And I loved the at about her because it showed she really cared about the photos and they really meant something to her. She had a vision and wanted me to bring it to life for her and her family.

Spoiler: this stuff works. Atmosphere Aerosol

You have to spray it on front of direct hard light. If you spray in front of a soft box it won’t work.
Also the spray is kinda gross when it gets on your hands.

Fun fact: kinda sorta ran out of lights when I set up this shot. This is a 4 light set up but I wanted a 5th light for fill and didn’t have it. I think we made it work though.

Mike is a very talented actor. We burst out laughing when I gave him some direction and told him to tilt his head and look away and he nailed it. We were like “damn! Mr. Actor can take direction lmao!”
