Recap: I was traveling to the DC area and had the opportunity to do a family photoshoot for a dear friend of mine and her newborn daughter. Their beautiful family were so easy and fun to work with! We did a variety of shots with different background to capture fall time in VA. I love how all of these turned out and think they look like models for a parenting magazine!

Recap: I had a blast doing Amy and Rob's engagement shoot. They were very easy going and knew which iconic backgrounds they wanted in their photos from the beginning. There was a lot of genuine laughter and you can see their love emanating from these pictures. It was really amazing to be part of such a memorable time in their lives!

Review: "We loved working with Truly for our engagement shoot! We are so awful at taking pictures... honestly, probably more difficult to capture on photo than wild animals, but Truly was so professional, patient, and a delight the whole way through. She never got frustrated with us, and got such great moments! We were expecting to have ruined every single one of the pictures, but somehow she was able to capture dozens of amazing shots. She was able to adjust really well to us, and made us feel as comfortable as we can get in front of a camera. She never rushed anything, and was really encouraging. Recap: I had so much fun shooting Tilly's Infant Photoshoot! She was so sweet and cuddly and the pictures with her older brother, Hugo made these photos even more memorable! We took these photos in Shirine's apartment which made everyone feel comfortable and able to capture really natural looking pictures.

Recap: Michelle and her beautiful family were so fun to shoot! With 3 little ones running around, we were busy with outfit changes, snacks, and several different locations. The pictures turned out so nice and was able to photograph all the different dynamics of their family. I love that they were able to capture these moments right before baby 4 came into this world!

Review: "Truly did such an amazing job with our family photo shoot. With 3 busy little ones, and 1 on the way, I wasn't sure how many "good" shots we'd get. I was absolutely blown away by how many incredible shots she was able to capture of our family as a whole as well as our various family dynamics-- husband & wife, brothers, daddy/daughter etc--so many special bonds and she somehow managed to capture them all naturally in a way that didn't look forced. We all had so much fun shooting with her, no one wanted to leave 😃. Truly was patient, creative, organized and great with our kids. She has such a sweet way of getting on their level and making them smile. {Judah 1st Year Cake Smash Shoot}

Location: Central Park

Recap: I loved working with Bryce and Jackee on their family photoshoot/Judah's Cake Smash! We went to the North Woods in Central Park which is more secluded area full of nature and has a beautiful waterfall. They are one of the sweetest families and it was a joy getting to work with them and capture some family and individual photos!

Review:Truly was PHENOMENAL to work with. Her comfort, knowledge, and confidence with the camera and scenery was perfect. She knew exactly what our vision was and did everything to make sure that we got the photos that we wanted. She was easy to work with and made us feel great-no like MODELS. You could easily tell that she has experience with children because our kids instantly fell in love (and she even brought snacks)! We HIGHLY recommend her.

Recap: I was referred to Nicole & Adam through a mutual friend and got to meet their sweet daughter Abby for her 6 month photoshoot. She's seriously the cutest thing ever with the most intense blue eyes you ever saw! I love the cute outfit changes and props her mama brought which made these photos even better. It's so sweet to capture these early baby days since they fly by so fast!

{Grace & Jeff Maternity Shoot}

Location: Ocean City, NJ

Recap: This is a photoshoot I did back in 2016. It's so fun to see how much I have learned and grown as a rookie photographer since taking these photos. Although I love how beautiful these pictures turned out, there was not much variety in poses, backgrounds, etc. Seeing these photos makes me want to push myself harder to be better at my craft. At the end of the day, Grace & Jeff loved how these turned out and were very happy with the final product which is always my main goal!

Review: I can't say enough good things about Truly Gil Photography! My maternity photos were GORGEOUS. Truly was able to capture such a beautiful moment in our family's life. Phenomenal talent, easy to work with, and quick turnaround time. I will definitely be using her again for future family shoots!

{Isla Newborn Shoot}

Recap: I loved being able to capture Susan's journey into motherhood! From maternity to her beautiful daughter Isla's first newborn shoot, has been amazing! These photos were taken at their apartment which had great natural light and cute props to make these photos even better. We took our time with feedings, cleaning up accidents (she was excited!), and rocking her back to sleep. Isla is so sweet and it was great getting to capture these early memories of parenthood for Chris and Susan!

{Susan & Chris Maternity Shoot}

Recap: Shooting with the most lovely couple in the pouring rain! Fortunately the weather cleared out the High Line and we had the entire walkway to ourselves! This was one of my favorite shoots of all time.

Review: "My husband and I worked with Truly for a recent maternity shoot, and we were blown away by her work. She was such a pro throughout the entire process - from collaborating on ideas with us pre-shoot, scouting potential locations, and then executing the day of. Despite the fact that the weather turned on us about 10 minutes into our photo shoot (it went from sunny to non-stop torrential downpour), Truly used her creative eye to innovate on the spot and came up with some interesting locations, poses, and even had us use our umbrellas as props - which turned out to be some of our favorite shots! Her patience, professionalism, humor, and ability to think outside the box made for such a fun day (and mind you, my husband typically hates taking photos). She also edited and turned around our finished images to us within the week, and we are absolutely thrilled with the end result. The photos were prominently displayed at our baby shower (during which we received countless compliments) and will be adorning our newborn's nursery when she arrives. I cannot recommend working with Truly highly enough!"
