Hi my little lovebirds!! 🕊️

I just wanted to pop in & share one of my newest wedding videos - Kalyn & Nick!! All of my wedding videos have an intentional emphasis of “home movie” feelings. There are few things that I love more than watching old home videos of my parents wedding or growing up with my brother and all of my cousins. I have been so fortunate in my life with so many loved ones, but unfortunately this means the loss of them is so hard. Having these videos where I can hear their voices, see them laugh and feeeel like I am with them again is irreplaceable.

So, if you’re considering having a videographer on your day, I would love to be considered. I promise to capture your day authentically and full of feelings.

It was such a beautiful blessing to film Ashley & Adam’s day —— I went to school with Ashley’s older siblings and our families have known each other for as long as I can remember.

I went into their day very intentional knowing the unwavering love they had for each other, their friends and family and God.

Every choice I made while filming and putting together their film reflected these intentions.

The video opens with a song titled, “Stained Glass,” and accompanies Ashley & Adam preparing to walk down the aisle, with reflection of stained glass windows adorning their vows.

You will hear little pieces of audio sprinkled throughout their video, there were constant words of love and kindness given to them during every moment that passed.

“I love you,” “you look beautiful,” “I’m so happy” and the choked up promises of their vows are just a few ——

Speeches were left wildly uncut because the words delivered by Ashley’s dad, her sister and Adam’s brothers brought me to tears every time I heard them.

And finally, the party. These families and friends came together to honor Ashley & Adam and their connection through Jesus, to share irreplaceable memories with loved ones and to dance —— because “Adam loves to dance and for those of you that have never seen him dance, just wait for an hour from now.”

Documenting Moments with a Romantic Comedy Charm and Home Movie Nostalgia.

In my opinion, memories are the greatest gift that God can give us on earth - the next best thing? Having the precious ability to record and capture these memories in photos and videos.

My entire life I thought I knew exactly what I was supposed to do, but then a few years ago a new idea planted itself in my heart and I believe this is where I was always meant to be. Being invited into your most fruitful days has been of the utmost pleasure these last two years and I am eternally grateful that this job continues to bring love stories into my life again and again.

This process with was more than just a rebrand and website launch - it was an intentional dive into my “why.”

I have always been enamored with love. Fictional stories like Jack & Rose, Harry & Sally, Carrie & Big and Ross & Rachel and the love I grew up witnessing between my parents, my grandparents and now the love I have been lucky enough to call mine.
This where the Romantic Comedy inspiration comes from. I want to romanticize the heck out of your relationship, so by taking a directors approach to couples sessions and wedding videos I am able to recognize the moments and perspectives that really allow me to tell your story.

The home I grew up in has always been decorated in photographs and home videos filled with simple moments, but when you put them all together, it tells a story. Over the last few months I have watched so many old home movies, my parents wedding video and sifted through printed photos from my life and the lives before me. This is where the home movie nostalgia inspiration comes from.

Having these photos and videos of me and my loved ones has had a tremendous impact on my life. I am certain one of the many reasons I have access to these memories is to act as a constant reminder that I am supposed to spend my life giving this irreplaceable gift to others.

I realized that slowly but intentionally, God has been leading me here to document these moments for all of the beautiful people that trust me with their stories for a very long time.
