Suzanne and I are continuing our adventure in Morocco.

When we arrived at the desert location, I noticed one noisy, cranky camel in the group. "Man, I definitely don't want THAT one."

Of COURSE, our guide walked me right over to him and had me hop on. 😄 Somehow, we became friends despite multiple attempts at rolling me off. 🐫 I'm here to tell the tale!

Like many of you, I am still reeling from this atrocious event and its extensive consequences. Fortunately, I had a productive and soul lifting diversion today, orchestrating a bo***ir photoshoot with my long time friend, Jen, as part of my "40 Over 40 Bo***ir Portrait Experience."

This heartening experience recognized her resilience: coping with her husband's passing, shedding 90 pounds, and exploring her identity. Cynthia Walker, a gifted hair and makeup stylist, and I collaborated to do something fun and exciting, to bring out her natural beauty and energy, bolstering my pledge to celebrate and empower women.

And boy, don't we need more of that now! (Pics to come!)
