Fine art photography series - https://andrewprokos.com/portfolios/

This series was first conceived in 2020 and has won numerous awards at IPA, Px3, and others. It was also published in DesignBoom, CNN Arabic, Harper's Bazaar Art, and many other publications.

The series was presented in a solo exhibition at the 2022 Xposure International Photo Festival, and followed with solo show at GalleryX in Sharjah, UAE.

These prints are heading to a new client in Abu Dhabi, so returning home in a sense since they were captured there. It really is gratifying to see the course of a creative series over time...you never really know what will happen when you first put the work out there...

I've been working on layouts for large-scale artwork for a prospective client in NYC.

So far 19 layouts including architecture from NYC, London, Boston, Dubai, and Washington DC...18 in black and white and one in color as a teaser.

I liked them so much that I decided to post them...forgive the watermarks. These would end up being a set of three 80x60 inch framed prints. Wish me luck! ;)

Three captures from my recent shoots for The Penn District / Vornado Realty Trust. These are interiors from Penn 2. The striking color scheme and sleek interiors really set these spaces apart...such a joy to shoot! The architect is Architects.

Some views of the main lobby and digital stairs at Penn 1, NYC. Recently captured during my shoots for The Penn District. My images from the project are now being compiled into a 400+ page bespoke book produced by the publisher Assouline. Can't wait to see it in print!

Sweeping interiors of the gorgeous main hall at Moynihan Train Hall during the day. Captured during my recent shoots for The Penn District / Vornado Realty Trust - https://andrewprokos.com/photography-commissions/

I wanted to do this this totally unique space justice by capturing it from multiple angles to give the client many options.

Some of these views were extremely labor intensive as they had to be stitched together from multiple vertical or horizontal shots captured in a sequence.

Sometimes people from multiple shots were layered in, or the signs were changed. The lighting was problematic to say the least as this location has a spectacular glass roof with the original steel girders retained when it was converted from use as a post office.

The sun shines right in the lens at the wrong times of day, so as a photographer you need to pay several visits and shoot the space over time when the light is best positioned.

Welcome to the wonderful world of high-end architectural photography of large public spaces! Famed architectural firm Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM) was the architect for the train hall renovation

Sold! Multiple black and white fine art prints of NYC landmarks and landscapes in production yesterday for new clients in New Jersey and in Israel. - https://andrewprokos.com/photos/black-and-white/

These include prints sized 16x20, 30x24 and 30x40 inches. All were originally captured on Ilford black and white negative film and scanned using a top of the line drum scanner.

The prints are on a photo rag museum grade paper and are now moving to the framer. I will post a new video of the framed artwork!
