A few weeks ago I spent the morning exploring Hoboken with Donia and Ahmed. From the moment I saw Donia’s mood board, I instantly got her classic vision for her engagement session 😍 I can’t wait to celebrate these two next year! This session has been in the works for a year now 😂 Rinad won a giveaway with me when she was living on the East coast (we also already knew each other when we lived in the Pacific Northwest so I was already 🤯 she of all people won!) between then and now she became a mother and moved back to the West coast. Our schedules never lined up until this past May when I was visiting family in Seattle! I’m so glad we finally made this session happen! This gorgeous slate colored gown was custom made by the lovely and paired so well with the location and complimented Rinad perfectly mashaAllah 😍

Finally getting around to posting all the engagement sessions from this spring! The blossoms were so magical at Melike and Aytek’s session. 🌸 I’m so glad we went early in the morning and beat the crowds. I’m not always a morning person but I’ll be happy to get out of bed if there’s brunch or an early morning session waiting for me. With summer around the corner you should definitely consider scheduling your session early for the best light and privacy of having the location to yourself!

How I feel now that I am West Coast bound 🤸🏻‍♀️🤸🏻‍♀️🤸🏻‍♀️
It has been a busy start to wedding season and I am so happy to get a chance to slow down and enjoy the beautiful sights the PNW has to offer. To kick off a series of super delayed posts, this first post is dedicated to my couple Layan and Ramzy who kicked off wedding season with me back in March. These images were some of my favorites I captured of their wedding day. They had a total of 3 zaffas 😱 (a traditional Arab wedding procession leading the newlyweds and the entire wedding party to the reception hall. There usually drums, and even a bag pipe player! Some families actually do this from the grooms home, the brides home then the wedding venue!) it’s like your own personal parade 😂 my favorite moment has to be the second image of Layan with her older brother. He took care of holding her dress and getting her in the car, it was so sweet to witness 🥺 mashaAllah Allahumma Barik Lahum.
