The European Union's attitude towards Russia's barbaric aggression against an independent Ukraine is not unequivocal. Germany, France, the Czech Republic are trying not to irritate Putin. At the same time, the Council of Europe continues to push through sanctions in Parliament against... Poland. For what crimes? For the independent decisions of the Parliament and the Government of the Republic of Poland in internal matters Polish. After the expulsion of the Russians from Ukraine, Poland should seriously think about its status in the leftist European Union.

Hand wash a hand - czyli ręka rękę myje - czyli jak NBP chce wesprzeć "Banki Frankowe" tak, aby .... nie załamał się sytem finansowy RP. Mówiąc po polsku: "ja pierdolę, jedne złodziejskie banki udzielają oszukańczych kredytów w walucie, której klient nigdy nie zobaczył bo banki nie miały żadnych Franków (CHF) a Szef wszystkich banków NBP chce im pomóc w przetrwaniu". Tylko w Polsce państwo od zawsze tak bezczelnie dymało i dyma swoich obywateli😂

Zarząd NBP może rozważyć ewentualne zaangażowanie w przewalutowanie hipotek frankowych. Stawia jednak bankom warunki.

Nowojorczycy żyjący w mieszkaniach z tzw. czynszem regulowanym są łącznie winni właścicielom domów ponad 1,1 miliarda dolarów z tytułu zaległych opłat. Przez ponad dwa miesiące 20 proc. lokatorów nie było w stanie wywiązać się z obowiązku zapłaty.
Z ustaleń tzw. programu ds. poprawy warunków mieszkaniowych (CHIP) reprezentującego właścicieli lokali o regulowanym czynszu wynika, że około 50 tys. najemców zalega z płatnościami na sumę 15 tys. dolarów, co oznacza, że zalegają z opłatami za rok.
Jak zauważył dziennik "New York Post" dane opracowane na podstawie analizy sytuacji 40 tys. lokali objętych kontrolą czynszu, pojawiają się w czasie, gdy stan Nowy Jork ma otrzymać od rządu federalnego wsparcie na cele związane z wynajmem w ramach najnowszego pakietu pomocy dla dotkniętych epidemią koronawirusa. Pomoc dla stanu Nowy Jork wyniesie 1,3 mld dolarów.
Nie jest jasne, jaka część tej kwoty trafi do miasta Nowy Jork. Dyrektor wykonawczy CHIP, Jay Martin podał w oświadczeniu, że fundusze "będą ogromną pomocą, jeśli zostaną wyasygnowane na zaległe płatności". Jego zdaniem zważywszy na ogromną wielkość niezapłaconego czynszu potrzebne będzie jednak jeszcze większe wsparcie ze strony Waszyngtonu.
Według kierownictwa programu ds. poprawy warunków mieszkaniowych (CHIP) liczba najemców, którzy nie są w stanie zapłacić czynszu, drastycznie wzrosła od wybuchu epidemii. Od 175 000 do 185 000 najemców (ok. 19,4 proc.) - ma ponad dwa miesiące zaległości w płatnościach. Stanowi to ponad 300-procentowy wzrost w porównaniu do lutego ubiegłego roku. Najemca zalegający z płatnościami jest winien właścicielowi przeciętnie 6,1 tys. dolarów USA.
Zgodnie z nowo uchwaloną ustawą stanową przedłużającą moratorium na eksmisje, lokatorzy, którzy nie są w stanie opłacić czynszu w czasie epidemii podlegają prawnej ochronie. Nie można ich pozbawić dachu nad głową przynajmniej do 1 maja.
Zaleganie z opłatami ma katastrofalne skutki dla właścicieli.
- Nie mamy nic. Jesteśmy całkowicie bez środków do życia – powiedział reporterom tabloidu "New York Post" 88-letni David Howson, właściciel domu w Harlemie. - Zaległy czynsz idzie w tysiące - dodał.
- Władze nakazały właścicielom zapewnianie mieszkań bez odszkodowania podczas kryzysu zdrowia publicznego, niezależnie od zdolności najemców do płacenia. Właściciele domów wykonali swoją część zadania. Teraz rząd musi dołożyć wszelkich starań, by pomóc tysiącom ludzi w pokryciu kosztów wynajmu mieszkań powiedział gazecie należącej do Ruperta Murdocha, dyrektor wykonawczy CHIP, Jay Martin.

You know the drill. You pick up a magazine or browse a website and flip through the photos. Most you look at for less than a second, but a select few grab your attention and demand a longer look. What’s different about these select photos? What makes some photos great and others mediocre?

I’ve bounced this question off of several distinguished photographers and the answers are always quite similar. They may disagree on some of the ordering, but the list of qualities goes something like this:

1. SAFETY !!!
2. Emotion
3. Light
4. Composition
5. Creativity
6. Context and... lawyers 😉

Journalistic news from New York

Headway, a new initiative from The New York Times supported by the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF), will give the public free access to new in-depth reporting on the environment, health, infrastructure, the economy, and social issues that looks beyond the daily churn of news.
A team of journalists from the Times, including Headway founder Michael Kimmelman, will explore big challenges at the national and global scale from the perspective of how we can make progress toward resolving them. To share the benefits of the project and its approach to journalism more widely, reporting fellows from The New York Times Fellowship will follow one year working on Headway projects with a second year embedded at a local news organization, drawing on their experience through Headway to contribute there.
A major SNF grant helps fund the three-year initiative, which aims to produce 10 to 12 major projects each year.
SNF sees excellent journalism as a pillar of democratic society and an essential ingredient in our collective response to the myriad challenges confronting us; helping foster and sustain it is an important and long-running thread of work in the Foundation’s grantmaking.
SNF has provided exclusive support for iMEdD (the incubator for Media Education and Development), a journalism nonprofit launched in 2018 that incubates new journalistic projects and organizations, facilitates international knowledge exchange, produces interactive data-driven projects, and much more. Among a number of other projects to build journalistic capacity around the world, SNF has also provided support for the Center for Strategic and International Studies Journalism Bootcamp, which offers student journalists an intensive practicum in producing a long-form multimedia reporting on a topic of timely international concern.

FRANKOWICZE... Nabici "w butelkę" klienci banków w Polsce (lista tych oszukańczych instytucji dostępna w internecie), którzy zostali nabrani na "tańsze" kredyty w walucie CHF. Okazało się jednak, że kredyty były droższe w wyniku "wystrzelenia" w górę kursu Franka Szwajcarskiego względem Złotówki. Wielu kredytobiorców straciło i pieniądze i niekiedy nawet życie w wyniku zamachów samobójczych na samych siebie... Powstał nawet ciekawy film pt. "Banksterzy" w skrócie opisujący mechanizm oszukańczej zmowy banków przeciwko kredytobiorcom.
