Santana fue el superintendente del edificio donde viví en Nueva York, primero en 2003 y luego entre 2007 y 2009. Estas fotos las tomé en 2004, durante un viaje en el que estaba produciendo imágenes para el primer número de la revista mexicana PICNIC, de la cual fui editor de fotografía.

El tema de ese primer número fue INMIGRANTES.

Santana was the superintendent of the building where I lived in New York, first in 2003 and later between 2007 and 2009.
I took these photographs in 2004, during a trip in which I was producing images for the first issue of the Mexican magazine PICNIC, where I served as photo editor.

The theme of that first issue was IMMIGRANTS.
