New self portrait before a night out on the town… tell me what you think!
Self portraits are not the easiest form of photography. Sometimes it takes MANY tries to get exactly what I envision in my photographs. But it’s the easiest way to practice creative photography regularly without a model or another person as your subject, as well as to sharpen your skills. Its a form of photography that has a plethora of benefits.
While Ive published almost 100 articles on photography between four major online photography resources, I’m hoping to release my first book (finally under my own name - ive been a ghost writer for ebooks before...) next year on self portraiture to help teach others the art of making creative self portraits. So far about 100 pages of the book is complete, so be on the lookout for that if you are interested in trying something new and making the leap from selfies to self portraiture. 🙃
