I was looking for a tree for my image transfer and I ran across these taken in 2023 at Eagle Rock Reservation in New Jersey. I remember trying to merge them but I don't know why I stopped.

Since then I heard about Pep Ventosa's work. He would take lots of images around a single subject and merge them into fantastic painterly images. I did not have that many so I gave it a try with these four.

Take a look at the tree peaking through the trunk. Is it trunk or trunks when it is the same tree multiple times?

There is also the moon in the middle left.

This one uses Photoshop to merge two images together. I was hoping to avoid that.

Sorry for the sappy song selection but the 80s was the best music era.

A rainy night in Times Square and a monthly photography challenge gave me an excuse to experiment with long exposures.

The first one in the grid is why I chose Times Square. I saw an Instagram post that showed a similar motion effect but It looked like it was done with Photoshop blur, so I wanted to see what I could do using only the camera.

Some of these photos were taken with the camera stationary and others with intentional camera movement.

Settings are on the last slide.
