After weeks indoors held hostage by brutal low temperatures and the biggest blizzard in years, I finally stepped back into the city.
Camera in hand.
New York in winter has a different language.
Abstract gestures made of ice, salt, steam, and shadow.
As a photographer, I’m always drawn to movement and high energy — but there’s something powerful about stillness after chaos. The city stripped down to light, shape, and survival.
These images are fragments from that walk.
Winter abstractions.
Cold air.
People in movement.
A reminder that even in the harshest conditions, there’s beauty waiting if you step outside.
