This 16x20 silver gelatin print from the press shoot for Is This It in 2001 is only $400. We shot this on West 39th Street, which was closed off to traffic at the time. This 11x14 print of Cab Ellis sitting on a stoop in Chinatown is heading out to Wende in Michigan today! As many of you know I’ve been shooting Cab Ellis for the last two and a half years. I think they’re the most exciting band to come out of NYC since The Strokes. If you haven’t seen them yet please do so. They have an upcoming show in May. I heard they’re playing in a boxing ring! For anyone interested I’m offering this alternate version of the Ass Shot used for the cover of Is This It for sale. This picture was taken with a Polaroid Bigshot camera on 665 Polaroid film, which yields a positive (the polaroid itself) and a negative. This is a scan of the polaroid, rather than a print made from the negative. You’ll see the border of the polaroid along with a few minor flaws the Polaroid yields.
