Coming back to the Dominican Republic to photograph Rosa and Aníbal’s wedding anniversary felt like coming home in more ways than one.
These two aren’t just a couple I admire — they’re a part of my story. They watched me grow, encouraged my dreams, and welcomed me with the kind of love that feels like family. Being invited to document another chapter of their journey was both an honor and a full-circle moment.
Their relationship is built on respect, humor, tenderness, and a quiet constancy that you can feel just by being around them. Capturing that energy again, in the country where it all began for me, was nothing short of emotional.
