Looking back at those memories are so special because they’re the only people who really know the moments leading up to the altar. Kavya’s friends were working together on steaming duty

There were stations for hair and makeup all throughout this giant bridal suite. Hair and makeup artists, you are all incredible. 😍

The best part about getting ready together in one giant bridal suite is that it feels like a giant slumber party + getting ready for a night out together!

The first look with the groom is always an incredible moment, but seeing Kavya’s besties watch her put on her final touches was sooo sweet

Mom was making sure Kavya was perfect and had everything she needed before getting ready herself ❤️

And who could forget Kavya’s dad? The best skirt fluffer of all time.

Meanwhile, Sean was able to get a few quiet moments to himself as he got ready.

But Sean’s Dad was right there with him, ready to assist when needed.

For all my wedding couples, I like to get what I call my “End of the night shot.” A memorable photo that lets me creatively capture their night, with no pressure on how to look and pose. It’s the photo that often ends up being my favorite and my clients’ favorite too! Watch till the end to see the flash setup info.

For Sean and Kavya, their wedding ceremony took place outside near the golf courses. The wedding party was constantly using the golf carts to get around the club and was a fun part of the day. I wanted to bring in those elements to their end of the night shot. So I first lit up the golf carts with a Godox Flashes & Lights speedlite. Then I set up another speedlite to back light the couple. Lastly, I lit up the red flag with another speedlite, this time adding a MagMod snoot. Then, I call my couple so they can take their shot and quickly rejoin the dance floor. Et voila! Sean and Kavya’s end of the night shot 🥰

Congratulations Jillian and Matt!! Your wedding day was tull of so much laughter, joy, and love. This luau had everything - guests in their most colorful outfits, a custom tiki bar, an ice cream truck, and even a conga line in the rain. Congrats again you sweethearts!
