It has been over a month since I closed Ten Ton & I am back into my long term photo projects & reworking my shooting kit.
That being said I am selling a D800 in great condition & a wonderful sharp 55mm f2.8. I am selling with one battery & charger.

This is the first picture that I posted from the deck of my studio in the 14 years ago. Friday was the last day of the space, it was beautiful, built with a ton of effort & over the years home to some great photographers & more importantly some really wonderful people. After 14 years TenTonStudio will be closing, thank you to all who suffered through the infrastructure of the Brooklyn Navy Yard. Mr. John Hall made the trip from Dallas to pickup a beautiful rosewood camera from the 1890’s (i am guessing)….the camera was stored at my studio for 14 years and was & , Todd thinks that cameras should be used. I could not agree more…happy trails.

Posting sone of my favorite pictures taken over the last 15 years. This portrait of my freind was taken a few years ago, I just ran across the image while edit in my archive. Wayne is an excellent photographer and has produced one of my favorite books of the last few years, “Orchard Beach: The Bronx Riviera “. The portrait work is straight, yet beautiful edited by Lawerence, his choices he has made in who to photograph makes the book work seamlessly. You can feel the acceptance of the subjects for Lawerence, each portrait feels like a calibration. Find the book….
