Meanwhile, I am going to be presenting a new slide show with a Q & A, this Sunday, 10/19 (4:30 pm) at the auditorium in the Fort Lee Historic Park's Visitor Center. See For Free, Mine and Me…
Next Sunday, October 19th, 2025 (can you believe it), I will be presenting a dynamic slide show of my music photography AT the AUTUMN ARTS FESTIVAL, in the historic park above the George Washington Bridge!
You might know me as a mainly JAZZ photographer, chronicler, history capturer. But in fact, my work encompasses many other genres, while staying loyal mostly to the great American art form.
This presentation will encompass many of my most recognizable images, including MILES DAVIS, RAY CHARLES, WYNTON and BRANFORD MARSALIS, BOB MARLEY, CHARLIE WATTS, FELA KUTI, NINA SIMONE, BILL CLINTON, TITO PUENTE, and SUN RA.
But did you know I’ve also photographed BONO, PATTI SMITH, MARK ANTHONY, KEITH RICHARDS, LOU REED, BRUCE WILLIS, GLORIA ESTEFAN, PATTI LABELLE, SMOKEY ROBINSON, JOHN MAYER, etc.?!
And to my Jersey and New York peeps in the area and able to come, some of you too are in my current presentation, including, MATTHEW WHITAKER, ROBERTA PIKET, T.K. BLUE, OMAR KABIR, BURNING BRASS (PAM FLEMING, JENNY HILL and NILDA RICHARDS),ANDREW CYRILLE, WILLIAM PARKER, ALAN HARRIS, VIJAY IYER, WADADA LEO SMITH, MATTHEW GARRISON, CLAUDIA ACUNA, LAKECIA BENJAMIN, JAZZMEIA HORN, etc.
Please join me and the other artists exhibiting at the festival for
a reception following my presentation…
Come early and see the other artists work and mine, presenting at the Autumn Art Festival on the Palisades!
