This is a woman that lived in a small village in Romania through the roughest times of world history. God gave her the unfortunate days to see her parents, brothers, sisters and the only husband and daughter dying. But she was also blessed to raise 2 generations of nephews. I can proudly call myself her great granddaughter. She just turned 90 years old when she passed away on Friday, February 27. These pictures were taken last time I visited her, which was about a month before she left us...forever. May her soul rest in peace!
