After being on an island for months, seeing snow in New York was definitely a wonderful sight. It was also way colder than I last remembered. While in New York, my husband and I were able to crack out our WWII uniforms and gear and take a couple photos. I wish we could have taken more photos but unfortunately the cold won 😂. Just wait… in a couple years once we return to the WWII weekend I will be wishing for the cold again!!

Walkin down Main Street ✨

On the day that I went to Magic Kingdom, my husband and I decided to dress vintage. It was a lot of fun. Hopefully the next time we go, we can dress vintage in all the parks. One helpful thing I learned was that my husbands hat was the only thing that helped me follow him or I would have gotten lost amongst the crowds 😂😂

A brief change of scenery….

It has been fun to photograph different scenery! My husband and I are on leave in the mainland and decided to do a Battle of the Bulge inspired photoshoot. We thought there would be snow but we were wrong hahah. I love being able to share a love of history with my husband and be able to photograph him.

Here’s just some brief history about the battle of the buldge. In 1944 after D-day, many Americans were hopeful that their loved ones would be home by Christmas. However, all hopes vanished when the Battle of the Bulge began in December 1944. The battle would last from December 16th, 1944 to January 25th, 1945. This was one of the last major German offensives and would eventually lead to the end of the war in Europe.
