I am a Portrait Photographer located in Fairfield County, Connecticut. I specialize in Fine Art Pet Portraiture but I honestly love to do it all.

Here’s one important thing you need to know about me:

In an industry full of natural light-based lifestyle photography, I am a studio photographer.

In a world filled with dynamic landscapes and beautiful scenes, my creative sanctuary lies within the walls of my photography studio. My studio is a blank canvas where my artistic vision can unfold without the unpredictability of external factors like the weather or the constraints of available light throughout the day.

My studio gives me space to create consistent, flattering light.

In a studio setting the background stays in the background. Shooting with simple backdrops allows me to produce modern, classic, and timeless images that focus solely on my subjects: you and your loved ones.

So, no, we won’t be meeting and taking pictures of you and the gang frolicking in the park. But there might be a bit of frolicking, definitely a bit of fun. In the end, we will have created timeless and beautiful images that capture memories, tell your story and be worthy of passing down through generations.

As a photographer, I feel like my goal is to always be moving forward -- learning and improving my skills, and creating better images. It's what keeps things interesting. But sometimes I feel the need to look back at some of the work I've done before. I took this image of my friend Max almost 10 years ago and it's remained one of my favorite headshots I've ever taken. I am allowing this image to teach me something today.

I have always loved the pink background used by the amazing photographer and educator, Sandra Coan Photography.Against the pink she absolutely glows. So this weekend I went to Lowe's and bought everything I needed to make my own. I am loving the results. Would you "think pink" for your next image?

These photos came up on my FB memories page. I can't believe it's been 5 years since I photographed these images. They are seriously some of my favorite images of all time. Just for the record, I'm pretty sure I had no real idea of what I was doing at the time but boy, was I trying hard. I'd love to know what you think!
