Last week, I was wandering around Lower Manhattan Despite having passed by the current MetLife building many times over the years, I had never viewed this architectural marvel through the lens of my camera before.
Every time you see this building, especially for those who grew up remembering 80’s New York vividly, the legendary PANAM’s commercial comes to mind, followed by memories of that tragic helicopter crash and its subsequent consequences.
This is one of the greatest cities ever, particularly for its blend of architectural wonders from 200 years ago and the modern concrete superstructures. Truly, this city possesses a magic that sometimes overwhelms you, yet simultaneously draws you closer, binding you to it forever.
