For her Charleston School of Law graduation photos, Lily knew exactly what she wanted. Lots of pink, charming street scenes, her sweet pup by her side, and of course photos with her proud parents who joined in along the way.

This session was three miles of nonstop fun.

We captured so many great images... too many to share.

Cogratulations Lily!

He did it for mom!
Philip Simmons graduation is less than a month away, and a senior portrait session was not exactly his idea. But a few minutes in, he realized it wasn't so bad.

That's usually how it goes.

My sessions for guys run shorter by design. Just enough time to move through a couple of locations and get some real variety without it becoming a whole thing. We walked South of Broad, through the brick alleyways and historic streets, and finished at The Battery. Done before he grew tired of the camera.

The answer is always YES.
Yes! You can bring your dog to your senior portraits, please!

Morgan brought her adorable dachshund Dolly to her Charleston School of Law senior portraits and it made the whole session a little sweeter. We caught the last hours of daylight on a Saturday in the French Quarter. Busy streets and plenty going on. And lots of people stopping to get a look at the pup and congratulate the soon-to-be grad. I clipped the leash to my camera belt so I could get portraits of just Morgan while keeping Dolly safe and close. That is just how it goes when a dog joins a session.

Dachshunds make people smile. It is just a fact. Two blondes. One almost-lawyer. One absolute scene-stealer. Dachshunds in the French Quarter. Highly recommend.

She knew exactly what she wanted for her graduation photo session.
We started in the French Quarter, made our way down to The Battery, and finished at the United States Custom House.

Warm evening light, blooming vines, layers of color and texture throughout the city make Charleston such a special backdrop for a grad session.

CSOL soon-to-be grad. She’s ready. 🎓✨

Sometimes as children, we don’t think of our moms as young women in their 20s before motherhood. The first picture is my mom on vacation in California with her best girlfriend—carefree, full of life, with her whole future ahead of her.

This is one of my favorite photos of her. It reminds me that she had a whole life before we came along.

My mom passed away on December 6th. She was warm, witty and tough til the end.

I’ll miss you, Mom.

Thank you for trusting me to capture your stories! 🧡

Some days I’m exploring the city streets with graduating seniors, some days I’m at the beach with families, and other days I’m helping a business owner highlight the heart behind what they do. Being invited into these moments is an honor I never take lightly.

The journey started during Covid as a hobby, but when I joined the Front Steps Project, things clicked.

Trading photos for charitable donations, I discovered the joy of capturing love, laughter and personality outside of my own family. When I got just as excited about photographing these moments for others as I did for my own loved ones, I knew I wanted to pursue this seriously.

Four years later, that core feeling hasn’t changed!

I am grateful for every client. Happy Thanksgiving week!
