I had met this gentleman while walking around downtown Columbus. He approached me with my camera. Curiously, he asked if I wanted to see this cool statue that he thought would be a great photograph. Instead, I told him he had an intriguing and mystifying presence, that I was more interested in capturing his character and sense of style rather than the statue. I feel terrible i had forgotten his name from a few weeks ago. I should've written it down. He is a street performer. He is a juggler. Very fun to photograph and interesting to hear his sense of pride when hearing him speak of his daughter going off to college as I photographed him. Thank you for your time sir!

I’ve been traveling to Columbus twice a year for the past three years, and this trip probably brought my best collection of Columbus street shots yet. I've come to the conclusion, the city feels like the opposite of New York — it seemingly empties out on weekends, almost eerily quiet, except for this visit when I went out shooting on a Monday. This marks my last trip to Columbus since I’ve switched to a neurologist in Pittsburgh. Here’s to Pittsburgh, a new city and hopefully, the streets waiting with many more photos to come!
