On February 16, 2021 I decided to post one photograph per day for one year on Facebook. I wanted to post at least, an interesting image, not just anything, something that was worth someones time to look at.

It’s been an amazing year. This project has renewed my interest in photography, I’ve shot thousands of photographs, discovered the post war photographers of Japan and the importance of the photo-book in their work. This has inspired me to publish my own work in a book, but I still feel that I’m not quite there yet, I will need to work more and develop my ideas better.

Next Wednesday is the 16th and will be the end of this project. 350 photos, done! I’m happy that it is over. The shooting, editing, processing and then posting of a serious photo every day is a lot. I’m still going to keep working with the end result of a photo-book in mind, but now I’m only going to post a photo from time to time, maybe a few per month.

For the most part my focus has been on black and white images, but I have also been shooting color, so for these last six days off this project. I will post some of my color work.
