A busy afternoon at Glasgow's famous Barras Market, where shoppers wander through a maze of stalls packed with antiques, collectibles, curiosities, and hidden treasures. The scene captures the heart of the market perfectly – people browsing, chatting, and searching for that unique find among the eclectic mix of vintage items and memorabilia.

With its colourful characters, bustling atmosphere, and rich history, the Barras remains one of Glasgow's most iconic destinations. It's a place where the old meets the new, and where every visit offers something different.

Stumbled across this incredible mural tucked away in a quiet corner, blending history, colour and everyday life into one scene. Sometimes the best photos are the ones you find when you wander without a plan.

Not every photo tells a story of beauty—some tell a story of mystery.

While wandering the back streets of Lisbon, I came across this dark alleyway covered in graffiti. Hidden among the artwork was a simple message: "This Way."

The problem? It pointed deeper into the shadows.

The narrow passage, dim lighting, and eerie atmosphere made it feel like the opening scene of a thriller movie. Part of me wanted to see where it led, while the other part thought that might not be the best idea!

Sometimes the most interesting photographs aren't the famous landmarks—they're the unexpected moments that make you stop and wonder what's around the next corner.

There’s something special about being out before the rest of the world wakes up.

This sunrise in Glencoe was worth every minute of the early start. As the first light crept over the mountains, a small wooden bridge sat quietly beside the burn, surrounded by the incredible beauty of the Highlands.

Moments like these are a reminder of why I love photography. No crowds, no noise—just nature putting on a spectacular show.

Back in Glencoe exploring one of its most incredible hidden spots 📸

This time I headed into the Lost Valley, starting from the valley floor and hiking up through some of the most dramatic mountain scenery Scotland has to offer. It’s a proper walk into the heart of Glencoe, and the views just keep getting better the higher you go.

Once inside the valley, it opens up into this hidden, quiet space surrounded by towering peaks — the kind of place that feels untouched. I spent time capturing both photos and drone footage before heading back down, stopping off at a few waterfalls along the way.

All about slowing down, exploring properly, and letting the landscape lead the shoot.

Golden hour over Sauchie ✨

A drone view of the new estate bathed in warm sunset light, with the Ochils fading into the distance. In the background you can just make out Stirling and the iconic Wallace Monument standing tall against the evening sky.

A reminder of how quickly this area is changing — new homes rising, but history always watching over it.

Back in Glencoe for another overnight photography trip 📸

Arrived late into a dark, freezing Highlands night at around -4°C, but still managed to get set up around Lagangarbh Hut and prepare for sunrise.

Woke up before dawn to still conditions and watched the first light hit Buachaille Etive Mòr — exactly the kind of moment that makes these trips worth it. Quiet, cold, and properly atmospheric in one of Scotland’s most iconic locations.

Simple setup, early start, and a brilliant Highland sunrise shoot.

Golden hour over one of Scotland’s most iconic landmarks 🏰✨

A different perspective of Stirling Castle captured from the air as the evening light rolled across the hills and the Wallace Monument disappeared into the distant haze. Seeing the castle perched high above the city really shows why Stirling was known as the “Gateway to the Highlands”.

Moments like this remind me why I love drone photography — being able to capture Scotland’s history, landscapes, and light all in a single frame. 📸🚁

Chasing waterfalls in the heart of the Highlands 🌿💧

The stunning Fairy Pools on the Isle of Skye never disappoint. Crystal clear water, dramatic rock formations, and the sound of the cascading falls made this one of those places you just have to stop and take in. Scotland really does have some unreal landscapes. 📸🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Captured during a peaceful wander through Skye with the camera and tripod, slowing things down to catch the movement of the water flowing into those famous turquoise pools.

Bathed in soft golden light, the breathtaking landscape of Glencoe stretches out beneath the towering presence of Buachaille Etive Mòr, with the iconic Lagangarbh Hut quietly resting in the distance.

The winding path and wooden bridge invite you deeper into the Highlands, through frost-kissed grass and rugged moorland, towards one of Scotland’s most dramatic mountain scenes. There’s a timeless romance to Glencoe — the silence of the glen, the warmth of the morning sun against the cold mountain air, and the feeling of being completely lost in nature together.

It’s the kind of place that makes you slow down, breathe deeper, and appreciate the beauty of the world around you. Wild, peaceful, and unforgettable.
