EWING REVIEWING 2020 in Full Color and B&W
I'm delighted to announce that my photoessay, Broadway in the Dark, has been published in Jan Ewing’s stunning theater yearbook EWING REVIEWING 2020. It includes forty prints in full color or black and white (depending on the edition), detailing the theaters of a great city crying out for their missing audience. Both the pictures and the texts provide a clear historical record of our year in quarantine and its profound impact upon independent performance art.

With reviews on twenty-four live plays and thirty-five online plays from our dark Pandemic year, the book provides a surprisingly optimistic picture of the development of a nascent, online art form, during a time when artists knew they must either adapt or die.
