The first entry of "Ruminations and Hope, In and Out of Time" Musician/storyteller Tyrone Birkett, presents a series of autobiographical accounts offering an unheard perspective of a Black man of a certain age in the struggle between relevance and retirement, memory and regret, promise and revival. Using spoken narrative, video, saxophone, song, & dance juxtaposing 70's soul with postmodern sonic textures.
