I still remember my first headshot session. I didn’t know what I was doing. I never spoke to the photographer before booking. I didn’t feel comfortable, and it showed.

Here’s the takeaway: Don’t just look at someone’s portfolio. Talk to them. If you feel at ease, that’s the photographer you want. Comfort shows in the final image, and that can help you land more opportunities.

We decided together, and she created all the artwork.
