Yesterday the 17 hostages, including 5 children, with the youngest at just 8-months old, were threatened to be killed.
Hopefully they will be released without any bloodshed. The people we met during our week in Haiti were incredibly kind and resilient. Obviously that wasn't the case for these missionaries facing a tragic situation. I hope that the actions of one gang don't become conflated with the character of an entire nation.
