I've worked closely with Casa Ruby and Ruby Corado is an exceptional person. A survivor of homelessness, discrimination, and a war torn homeland of El Salvador. She turned her experiences into inspiration to help others in similar situations. Her story has been very impactful in my work and has made me very intentional about the institutions with which I work.
