Last summer, CTC Creative was tapped by Beyer Blinder Belle Architects to photograph the Essex Crossing Mixed-Use Development. Our offices are nearby and I have watched the area languish for decades. Essex Crossing has transformed the Delancey Street corridor approaching the Williamsburg Bridge into a new hub featuring retail markets, restaurants, offices, a movie theater, and the International Center of Photography.
BBB and SHoP Architects led the master planning of the six-acre complex. This once-underutilized area has become the heart of the community.
It was a privilege for us .creative to help out on this great project!

We did an ad shoot for Apres Equinox several years ago, which is still being activated on a seasonal basis on the roof of their headquarters at 35 Hudson Yards. Saunas, a heated pool, and a bar with adult beverages are all offered to give patrons a small taste of winter and apres ski culture. It kind of makes us want to be in !

CTC Creative visited several times this year to create photography and video content for BBB Architects in partnership with The Metropolitan Museum of Art. The years-long overall project was the replacement of hundreds of skylights and other special-purpose windows on the west and south sides of the museum, along with substantial interior renovations. Ten years ago, between February 12 through February 27, 2005, The Gates tempted millions of people to visit Central Park. The 7,500 steel structures in this epic public artwork – “gates” holding deep saffron-colored fabric – lined 23 winding miles through the iconic park.

According to the artists, the work used 5,390 tons of steel, 315,491 feet (96 km) of vinyl tubing, 99,155 square meters of fabric, and 15,000 sets of brackets and hardware.

The Palm Court, a grand entrance to 22 Vanderbilt framed by an iconic atrium, is an oasis directly above Grand Central Stations.

The building, situated in the heart of Midtown Manhattan, features 1.1 million square feet of hospitality, amenity, and cutting-edge Class A office space across 29 stories with direct in-building lobby access to Grand Central Terminal.
