Was recently diagnosed with terminal cancer. Her family wanted to capture a moment in time.

"I adopted Olive from a pit bull rescue in Ohio in Sept 2015, when I was living alone in a new small town in KY. She was my first dog as an adult and from day one she was trouble. Luckily for her, she was the most beautiful creature...There are so many things I’ll miss about her. She was my best friend and my reason for getting out of bed and returning home when I was at my lowest. I’ll miss her big head nudging me to lift up the bedcovers for her to curl up as little spoon to my big spoon. I’ll miss her ridiculous excitement and dancing, crying whenever her collar and leash are grabbed. And the way she jumps towards my (and everyone’s) face with a gnash of her teeth, mere centimeters away from making contact—her way of showing her excitement and affection!" -Olives mom

"When I originally adopted her, I named her princess but at that age I named everything princess, everything!! As she and I grew up, she was getting chunkier. I worked at McDonald’s at the time, and I kept saying she was a big Big Mac, and that’s how it happened. From there, we got Bugs. She’s my princess, my Big Mac, my bugs."-written by her mom
