Osprey story time!

Buzzing from my first outing in Central Park, I decided to head to Prospect Park to try my luck despite the rain.
As I was walking around the lake, I met who kindly pointed out an Osprey who was chilling in a tree.

I continued my walk around the lake and saw a couple birds in the sky. Thinking they were gulls, I pointed my camera up only to discover that they were hunting Osprey!

Before I could register/think properly, they started taking turns diving into the water for fish! Chuffed to have held my nerve and photograph this beautiful display of nature!

Unbelievable seeing such amazing scenes in NYCs parks!

Just a chill mama.

For three days, we joked about seeing a leopard in a tree. We manifested it daily. When we missed out on seeing a leopard the second day we manifested some more. And low behold, we were blessed to witness this beautiful mother, calling out for her cubs from the tree. Not gonna forget this anytime soon.

2025 was a year for resetting, and growing.

Creatively, I took a step away from shooting for work, and focused on shooting for enjoyment. I felt burnt out. Slowing down helped me enjoy the moments I had with my loved ones through travel and running. It took a while, but I started going on photo walks again. I started falling in love with the process again.

Ignoring the noise driven by social media “best practices” has been freeing and has allowed me to focus my energy on creating more vs the forever changing algorithm.

Here’s to a much more creative 2026.
