Hello & Welcome! 👋 I'm Sinclaire - a photographer & SAG-AFTRA actor living in Manhattan with my 'lil spotty rescue dog, Auggie. 🐶📸
Having grown up in the film industry, I've always had a deep love of & appreciation for the artistic complexities of photography as a form of media & expression, particularly portraiture. Simply put, I love that we, as photographers, have the ability to use this art form to empower people to feel good in their skin. In a world that preaches perfection & trends & not good enough this & not good enough that, especially in the creative industries, we deserve to love the way we look. I'm passionate about using photography to help people look & feel their best.
Having been an actor myself for several years, I’m no stranger to headshots & stay up to date on their do's & don'ts from both sides of the camera. My extensive work in front of the camera informs my headshot style - giving me a cinematic, directorial eye for photos & an ease in directing clients for a smooth shoot.
As an actor, headshots have always been anxiety-inducing for me, between the steep prices & the pressure put on one day to look perfect for these photos, I was often left feeling limited by my photos, unable to dye my hair or grow without fear of having to go through the headshot process (or price) again. It's my belief that headshots & portraits should be affordable & easy. You should be able to change up your look as many times as you please so that you always look and feel your best. Your photos should never hold you back from being your best self; they should adjust to reflect your best self! It should always be accessible to have current photos.
I want you to feel proud of the pictures you bring into a casting room or a job interview, so we'll collaborate from beginning to end to make sure these images represent you in your brightest, boldest, and most beautiful. Prior to every shoot, I conduct a brief consult so that I may personalize your shoot, since I custom tailor both the photos and experience to each person I have the privilege of photographing.
